Sertus Insurance Motor Assist is a 24 hour accident emergency and breakdown recovery service. It is there to assist you in your time of need. The choice of assistance depends on the options available to the rescue provider at the time of the request for assistance.

In the event of your car being immobilised as a result of an accident, breakdown, fire, theft, attempted theft, malicious damage or punctures, which require assistance to fix or replace a lost wheel, lost or broken keys, or keys locked in the car, anywhere in Ireland, our assistance service offers:

The Home Emergency Helpline Service is a 24 hour, 365 day a year telephone service through which the Company
will provide a connection to our approved network of trades, which includes Plumbers, Electricians, Glaziers,
Locksmiths or Roofers for the benefit of the Policyholder in an Emergency.
The Policyholder should contact the service through the 1890 telephone number provided. The Company will provide a
Conference Call Facility where the Insured, the Helpline Operator and Network Provider are put in touch with each other.
All costs incurred will be met by the Policyholder. However, if the cost is covered by this policy, then we will reimburse the Policyholder as part of the claim settlement.
This service is provided by Ireland Assist. Ireland Assist/ Sertus Insurance/the Underwriter(s) do not accept responsibility for any expenses, consequential loss or legal liability for any loss or damage to any property or persons, arising from the provision of or delay or omission in providing services.
The service is provided within the territorial limits of the island of Ireland.
